Pastor Steve
Have you ever wondered what a Cowboy Church is like? What it would be like to attend or be part of a ministry that provides non-denominational services for all who would like to hear the Word of God? Have you ever wanted to attend a church service without a dress code?
Here is your chance to find out. As the pastor of the Cowboy Church of Limestone County I want to invite and welcome everyone to a church that is, without exception, a service for all. We meet every Sunday morning at 10:00, and we host Bible Study at 6:30 each Thursday evening. We have Arena Night on Tuesdays at 6:00. This event provides a good family atmosphere where adults and children alike can have fun on horses while remaining focused on the solid principles of the Bible. We have a Music Ministry on Wednesday’s nights where our band practices. You are welcome to come and enjoy the music while they practice.
On the first Sunday of each month we have a fellowship breakfast that is open to everyone. Please join us at 8:30 am for a delicious meal and great camaraderie. Additionally, I want to invite you to our 1st Annual Spring Fling Barrel Race on April 13, 2013. We will award 5 Saddles and a host of other prizes. Books open at 7:30 in the morning, exhibitions runs start at 8:00 am, and the show starts at 2:00 pm. I hope to see you there.
There are no exceptions: The Cowboy Church of Limestone County is for all, and everyone will be welcomed with open arms and open hearts. Currently attending our church are people who come from every walk of life. There are rodeo cowboys, cutters, reiners, ranch hands, barrel racers, trail riders, and just plain good ole folks who love horses and this way of life. That is not to say you have to own a horse or be a horse person to come, try us out and see if we fit your way of worship. We allow God to minister through us by preaching, praying, and teaching the Word of God. We believe the following as the base of our faith:
- That the Bible is the word of God.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died to save men from their sins.
- We believe that men are saved by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ.
- We believe that baptism is the means by which people are to publically profess their faith in Christ and identify themselves with his death, burial and resurrection.
If this type of worship interests you, give us a try; we would be happy to see you, and I think you’ll be glad you came to this Cowboy Church!
Again, I think you will enjoy our unique style of worship, community service, horse events, and just plain FAMILY fun! Our doors will be open for all who visit and get a better understanding of the “Cowboy Church.”
